| In the 28 years since the initiation
of the “reform and opening” policy
in China, China has become one of the largest and
fastest growing economies in the world. It has also
become a leading manufacturing center for a host
of industries. As a low cost provider and a growing
market, doing business in China is no longer an option
but a necessity.
China presents a tremendous opportunity for U.S.
businesses, and not just as a manufacturing base.
China is the 4th largest US export market. US
exports to China have grown about 20% each year.
It had grown to 34% over the comparable
period last year, totaling $40.2 billion. ( Washington
Post, Nov. 15, 2006 on page D8.) It is our hope
that more U.S. companies will find opportunities
may exist for their products in China.
After two successful annual conferences in the
United States, the next America-China Women’s
Business Conference will be held in Beijing, China
from September 26-28, 2007.
You will not only increase your exposure in one
of the fastest growing markets in the world, but
also increase your network of potential Chinese
suppliers and partners in your future international
expansion, and benefit from listening to experienced
professionals share their wealth of knowledge
in a number of different industries. |
